What is a Tantra?

Tantra is an ancient Eastern practice, the Tao of Love.  Tantra is a celebration of life, love, and the arts.  Art in whatever form lifts the spirit.  Tantra is a path of self-development and a way of life acknowledging the divine in our selves, others, and all of creation.  We embrace the notion that pleasure, bliss, harmony, and ecstasy is our birthright.  In our hearts we understand that loving kindness is always a conscious choice.  Followers recognize that energy is a life force that runs through all of us.  The term Tantra implies that we can weave all the many threads of our wordly existence into a more satisfying whole.  The Tantric lifestyle is the opposite of suffering, blame, guilt, fear, and shame.    The message is simple - open your heart and minds, become more curious, know humility, and celebrate life with a spirit of wonder and playfulness.

Social Mission: 

We do have a social mission because we want more than just profit to guide us - we tantrikas do believe we can change the world!  Connecting with your body in a positive way via your senses gives one a surge of wellbeing and vitalizing energy.  We envision a society of eroticized beings that feel great about all aspects of living life to the fullest!

We strive to weave social responsibility throughout our company.  We are not perfect, but we try our best.

We view social responsibility in 3 key areas:

First of all, we consider what products we are creating. Are they good for the world....are they healthy...are they natural and fairly traded? Is the sourcing ethical? We work very hard to find  partners with a commitment to fair trade.  Plus, we searched for a product - cacao - which comes from the most healthy and magical fruit in the world. It is a slow, not fast food, and we're proud of that.

As a founder of a company, I am committed to building a workplace, which is empowered, team-oriented, positive, and service oriented. On the inside of our company, we need to be responsible in order to serve our partners and our community effectively.  Once again, we are not perfect, be we do try our best.
